All About Me

My name is Scott Parker. I live in Hill City, Kansas, where I teach at Longfellow Middle School, which is six blocks away from our house. I received my BSED from Missouri University in 1986. I taught in the Kansas City area after that, until moving to Hill City in 1990.

My teaching subjects for the upcoming year are: 5th Grade Technology, 6th Grade Technology, 7th Grade Technology, 8th Grade Technology, and one class of 8th Grade American History. I also will be helping out one period with Accelerated Reading during 2005-2006. I am working on completing my FHSU Master's in Instructional Technology (MIT). I hope to be finished in the Spring Semester, 2007.

My wife, Diana, also graduated from Mizzou, and she teaches at Hill City Elementary School. Our daughter, Bethany, attends HCES in Hill City, and she goes to dance at Jackie Creamer's "The Dance Studio" in Hays.
